Your slippers stop at the door
OUTDOORSOLE

Your slippers stop at the door.
These don't.

Fleece inside, a quilted puffer shell, and a ribbed outdoor sole that keeps the fabric up off the wet grass. Out to the dog, the woodpile or the mailbox and back, in the same pair.

What everyone says first

“Slippers are for inside. Outside it's usually wet.”

Fair. So the dry socks come off, cold boots go on with the laces tucked in, and you walk two minutes to the dog, the bathhouse or the mailbox. Then it all comes off again. Every morning.

★★★★★

Finally a good slipper I can wear outside too, and it's warm enough for winter.

Bram, Northman's Outdoor

Six reasons they don't stop at the door

1

A SOLE MADE FOR OUTSIDE

Ribbed EVA, not felt or soft foam. It takes gravel, decking and damp grass, and it doesn't soak up the morning dew.

2

SHEDS DEW AND DRIZZLE

The shell is water-resistant, so wet grass and a light shower run off it. It is not a rain boot, and we say so below.

3

WARM FROM THE FIRST STEP

A quilted, puffer-style upper over short-pile plush fleece. Warm the moment your feet go in, not twenty minutes later.

4

STEP IN AND GO

No laces, no straps, nothing to tuck in. That matters more at six in the morning, or with a stiff back, than it sounds.

5

THE HEEL IS CLOSED

An open-back slipper is held on by your toes. This one wraps the whole foot, heel included, so it stays on over steps, gravel and wet grass.

6

ABOUT 350 G A PAIR

Light enough to live by the RV door, in the cabin closet or in a duffel bag without taking over the space.

Honest limit: these are water-resistant, not waterproof, and they are not hiking shoes. For puddles, mud or a real walk, put your boots on.

Why an open-back slipper comes off outside

An open-back slipper stays on because your toes hold it. On a flat kitchen floor that works. Outside the ground tilts, a step drops away, wet grass drags at the sole, and the toes let go. That is when the slipper stays behind.

Close the heel and the slipper moves with your whole foot instead of your toes. Put a ribbed outdoor sole under it and gravel and damp decking stop being a problem. House-slipper warmth, and you can walk out the door in it.

Good questions

Can I really wear them outside?

Yes, for the short trips: the step, the deck, gravel, the lawn, the walk to the bathhouse or the mailbox. The ribbed EVA sole is made for it and the closed heel keeps them on.

Honest note: They are not hiking shoes. For a trail, a long walk or rough ground, wear boots.

Are they waterproof?

No, water-resistant. The shell sheds dew, wet grass and drizzle. Step in a puddle or stand in wet snow and water will get in.

Honest note: If your mornings are mostly puddles or snow, a rubber boot does that job better.

How do the sizes run?

Each size covers a range: US 7.5–8.5, 9–10, 10.5–11.5, 12–13 and 13.5–15 (UK 6.5 to 14). They are unisex. For women, add 1.5: the smallest range fits women's US 9–10.

Honest note: Smaller than a women's US 9? The smallest range will be loose on you. Between sizes or in thick socks, take the larger range.

Are they slippery on a wet deck?

The ribbed EVA sole grips decking, gravel and damp grass far better than a flat felt or foam indoor sole. That is what it is there for.

Honest note: No slipper sole makes ice or frosted wood safe. On icy steps, go slowly and use the rail.

Are they warm enough for cold mornings?

The upper is quilted like a puffer jacket over short-pile plush fleece, and the closed heel keeps the warmth in instead of letting it out the back. Made for cold mornings and evenings.

Honest note: They keep feet warm on short trips outside. They are not made for standing in snow.

Do they have arch support?

They are slippers, not orthopedic shoes, and we make no arch support claim. If you wear orthotics for your feet, keep wearing them for real walking.

How much do they weigh?

About 350 g for the pair, roughly 12 oz. Light enough for the RV, the cabin bag or a duffel.

Which colours are there?

Black/Green (olive quilting, black collar and sole), White/Black and Pink/Black. All three have the same build, lining and sole.

Honest note: The small COZYWARM print on the collar is the maker's mark and is on every pair.

Are they a good gift?

One of the easier ones to get right: unisex, sized in ranges instead of half sizes, and useful to anyone who already steps outside in slippers. Go by their usual shoe size.

Can I return them?

Yes. Not satisfied? You can return them within 30 days.
