Knee pads that live in your work pants
KNEELOCKED

Knee pads that live in your work pants.
Nothing to strap on, nothing to pull up.

Ripstop fabric, ten pockets and hard knee caps locked over the knee. Put them on at seven, kneel all day, forget you're wearing them.

What every tradesman says first

“Knee pad pants? The pad always ends up on your shin.”

Fair, most do. A loose insert in a loose pocket drops when you stand and twists when you walk. Here a KneeLock tab behind each knee pulls the pocket snug, so the cap stays where your knee is.

Six reasons they outwork regular work pants

1

RIPSTOP THAT HOLDS

Thicker threads woven in a small grid. Snag it on a nail or a fence and the tear stops at the grid instead of running up your leg.

2

10 POCKETS, NO TOOL BELT

Flap cargo pockets, calf pockets and zip pockets front and back. Tape, phone, knife and pencil, right where you work.

3

KNEE PADS THAT STAY PUT

Hard caps ride in the pants and KneeLock holds them over the knee. Nothing strapped around your leg.

4

KNEES THAT DON'T GIVE OUT

Double-layer fabric over the knee, right where regular work pants wear through first.

5

CUFFS THAT CLOSE OVER BOOTS

Hook-and-loop at each ankle. Cinch them over your boots and mud, snow and ticks stay out.

6

DIAL IN THE WAIST

Hook-and-loop adjusters on both sides. Snug when you kneel, bend or carry, easy again at lunch.

Wherever you end up on your knees

Gravel, broken concrete, wet ground: ripstop and a double-layer knee take it, not your kneecap.

Honest limit: with the pads in, your knees run warmer, so take them out on hot days. Not flame-resistant: not for welding or open sparks.

KNEELOCKED

Why knee pad pants lose the pad

In most knee pad pants the pad sits in a loose pocket. Stand up and it drops; walk and it twists to the side. That is how buyers end up calling their knee pads shin guards, and why the strap-ons come back out of the truck.

KneeLock is a hook-and-loop tab at the back of each knee. One pull draws the knee pocket snug, so the cap stays where your knee is when you kneel, stand and kneel again. Nothing goes around your leg.

Good questions

Are the knee pads included?

Yes. Two hard-shell knee caps come with the pants, one per knee, each in its own double-layer pocket.

Do the pads stay on the knee?

Yes, that is what KneeLock is for. Set the tab behind each knee once and the pocket holds the cap over your knee as you kneel, stand and walk.

Honest note: Set it standing, with the pants on. If you feel it when you crouch, loosen it a little.

Is there a strap behind my knee?

No strap goes around your leg. The KneeLock tab is sewn to the pants and only tightens the knee pocket.

Can I take the pads out?

Yes. Both caps slide out of the knee pockets, for hot days, for the wash, or a day you won't kneel.

Do they get hot?

With the pads in, your knees run warmer, like with any knee pad. On a hot day, take them out.

Honest note: These are long work pants. In real heat, any long pant is warm.

Do they look tactical?

In black or khaki they read as work pants: cargo pockets and a knee cap. Camo and army green are there for hunting and the woods.

Does the hook-and-loop wear out?

It's standard hook-and-loop on the knees, waist, pockets and cuffs. Close it before washing and it lasts a lot longer.

Honest note: Hook-and-loop is louder than a zip. Hunting up close? Open the pockets slowly.

What does ripstop do?

Thicker threads are woven into the fabric in a small grid. A snag or a small tear stops at the next line of the grid instead of running.

Honest note: Ripstop slows a tear down. It does not make the pants untearable.

Is it worth $79.95?

Compare it with what you use now: work pants, strap-on knee pads, and a new pair when the knees wear through. Two pairs save 10%, three save 15%.

Can I return them?

Yes. Not satisfied? You can return them within 30 days.
